Abstract

The four strategies which might lead to accident and injury reduction, and also of property damage are: -modification of vehicle use. - measures directed at accident prevention - measures directed at injury prevention - the medical profession takes measures to determine the best types of emergency and long rage services. - Studies on accident causes show that in many cases the driver responsible (alcohol etc.) for his own dead and that of others. The medical profession is concerned with injury rather than with accident prevention. The automobile industry has to design vehicles which are safe to have accidents in: There must be a close coordination between these two professions, which will lead to more safety.
