Abstract

Yazaki has developed a drive recording system "YAZAC-eye" with the aim of making drivers better mannered, reducing the number of traffic accidents and eventually achieving a safe motorized society. The YAZAC-eye drive recording system is designed to collect drivers' driving data and capture a video image of what is ahead of a vehicle, and optionally one from another angle. The purpose of the research was to verify that incorporating AI (Artificial Intelligence) into the YAZAC-eye drive recording system would further aid drivers in driving safely.
