Abstract

This article describes and analyzes the road condition for a high altitude alpine road and the measures taken to ensure traffic safety and accessibility even in extreme weather conditions. It also in-depth analyzes the influence of various technical engineering management measures and their influence on the road safety. The article serves as a foundation for future design and management of roads in these kinds of extreme conditions. (Author/publisher)
