Abstract

Several occupant restraint protection systems are being planned which parallel the 1974 requirements of the safety administration. Through a projection of effectiveness on a national and individual basis, it is suggested that the customer have the opportunity to select the type of system which he desires. With more experience with the use of systems, the customer could select the system based on performance, economics and preference.
