Abstract

Results of an experiment are considered in the context of planning for the future in order to define the required precision of knowledge of competitive restraint systems. The interaction between restraint system effectiveness and wear rate (as affected by legislation) will be presented in model from so that the reader may insert his own parameters in assessing desirable restraint system performance for the future.
