Abstract

The examination of two belt restraint systems, which can be used in quantity, on 49 human cadavers by simulating a frontal impact of a car with 50 km/h shows injuries with mounting numbers and severities in accordance with age of cadavers. The results could be a base for the development of better restraint systems.
