Abstract

Night- time surveys of drivers to estimate the distribution of blood alcohol concentrations among drivers has been periodically undertaken in Canada since 1974. The present paper focuses on the 1986 surveys conducted in Ontario and Quebec. The survey design and field operations are summarised, and response rates presented. (The paper was presented at the conference mentioned in B 28857).
