Abstract

This scientific poster presentation describes characteristics of the three primary data systems (Police Accident Reports, Emergency Medical Services Run Reports, and Hospital Discharge Data), for each state that can be linked to develop statewide data systems for severe non-fatal motor vehicle associated injuries. It also describes strengths and limitations of existing systems that affect efficient and economical data linkage.
