Abstract

A summery of previously unpublished experiments and results for biological injury encountered in aircraft situations is given. Acceleration forces exceed primary acceleration of catapult due to oscillations excited between the manseat system. The theory behind calculation of these effects is reported with confirming test results on human and animal subjects. An extensive bibliography on numerous Air Force investigations is also included.
