Abstract

This paper presents the findings and recommendations of a self-funded research project undertaken by Creative Transportation Solutions Ltd. (CTS) and LCP Signal Management Inc. (LCP). The primary objective of the research project was to review British Columbia's (B.C.) existing pedestrian signal operations in order to identify operational and safety concerns, and quantify some problems that have been observed with their use.
