Abstract

The study involves the review and analysis of existing accident data in European countries with the specific purpose of identifying accident contributory violations / Although the usefulness of the databases appeared to be rather limited in most cases, speed choice, violation of priority rules, and driver state variables could be identified as violations that are frequently related to accident occurrence.
