Abstract
In traffic accidents often train injuries occur. In Dutch hospitals yearly in 10.000 traffic victim a train damage is diagnosed. Above all after long term coma psychological and physiological disabilities can remain, which may influence driving a car. At the moment there are no criteria for medical experts the judge if such patients still should be allowed to drive a car. In driving tests is shown that the desired reaction time is sometimes too long, but further research is wanted.
