In the problems of personal transport the congestion in the Randstad gets all attention. The interests of other regions are not taken into account by the national policy. Other regions share in the costs for the accessibility of the Randstad, while no benefits are placed for them. The change this a plea is hold for a more direct use of taxes. An increase of the fuel tax for the use of private cars in the Randstad should be the first steps.
