Abstract

In the Etten-Leur built-up area of government road 256 are four traffic light controlled intersections. Three of these intersections are connected with a fixed traffic-regulations, whilst the fourth intersection independently regulates by traffic supply. To try and reduce the amount of accidents on this government road section a new traffic-regulations has been designed to assure safety first and secondly to maintain or perhaps increase the traffic let through capacity.
