Abstract
The study shows how financial risk analysis methods can be used for demands for public transport subsidy when estimating the costs and benefits which arise from a certain investment in the infrastructure, the risk analysis allows uncertainties to be forecast in a balanced way. Different methods to estimate and to calculate these costs and benefits are discussed.
