Abstract

Several studies have examined the contents of alcohol advertisements. A large- scale study has shown the impact of the ads. This study reviews briefly the studies of ad content before presenting some findings of the large-scale study. Nobody expects that alcohol abuse can be stopped. It can be expected that common steps toward reduction can be undertaken.
