Abstract
This volume of original chapters aims to clarify the concepts of risk, and to help standardize methods for decision making in risk technology and safety management. The emphasis throughout the book is on risks in connection with work and danger and the book is of value to industrial psychologists, safety engineers, industrial engineers, and production managers as a review of the concept of risk for practice and policy making.
