Risk of fatal injury in vehicles of different size.

Abstract

The general procedure followed in this study was to select only those two vehicle accidents in which at least one driver was killed. These accidents were grouped based on the two classes of vehicles involved. The number of driver fatalities found in each of the two classes was used to establish the relative rating of the two classes.
