Abstract
Statistical data of road traffic accidents which occurred in Great Britain during 1974 are presented. Trends and casualty rates are given by class of road user and severity of injury, time of day, road surface condition, type of vehicle, and results on breath tests on car drivers. The second part of the report presents detailed tables with 1974 data as related to accidents, casualties and drivers as well as vehicles involved. Finally, comparisons are made with road deaths and death rate in other countries.
