Road casualties since the "drinking and driving" legislation.

Abstract

A study has been made of the numbers of road casualties occurring during the first 6 years of the "drinking and driving" legislation introduced in 1967. Trends over the years have been examined for different classes of road user, for different ages of driver, and for different times of day and day of week. The results of the study are presented.
