Abstract

Modern information management requires a comprehensive and co- ordinated approach to permit integration or correlation of the various data classes. As definition of geographic position of data is essential it is also developing a common locational reference system by which all relevant road information will be referenced. This paper describes the results of the investigation, suggests methods for improved road information management, and describes the system under development for referencing the data.
