Abstract

The Victorian government is introducing legislation to establish clearer principles for road management. Through road management plans the road manager has clear accountability and the travelling public has clear expectations as to what is a 'reasonable standard' in a civil liability sense. A safer road network will result. (Author/publisher) For the covering entry of this conference, please see ITRD abstract no. E211954.
