Abstract
The Green Light Group, a collaboration between professional organisations concerned with transport, is carrying out a wide-ranging investigation to examine if and how the UK should introducing a nationwide system of road pricing. This report focuses on road pricing technology and asks whether current systems are capable of handling a UK-wide, pay-as-you-go road charging scheme. The pros and cons of each available technology are considered.
