Abstract
Some of the best known technologies which have been advocated for implementing roadway usage pricing policies are surveyed. Focus is placed on four of the most promising technologies. These technologies are described in terms of how the different pricing policies may be implemented with them. The likely administrative and enforcement procedures and associated problems have been summarized along with estimates of probable cost of adapting such technologies.
