Abstract
Activities of the Road and Motor Vehicle Traffic Safety Branch of the Ministry are presented. Highlights were programs for seat belt use and performance, vehicle lighting, vehicle and traffic noise, roadway lighting and pavement design, roadway geometry and environment, speed enforcement, data systems development, fuel economy and safety, motor vehicle regulations, motor vehicle investigations and the motor vehicle test centre.
