Abstract

Road safety education requires concrete formulated educational objectives that are directly derived from empirical data concerning accidents, exposure, behaviour and the psychological development of the target group involved. The content of instruction can be deduced from these objectives and should include behaviour, knowledge, skills and attitude components.
