Abstract

The increase in road accidents in Israel and a rapid increase in the number of vehicles has forced the education system to devote thought to how to educate pupils to adapt to a modern transport system as pedestrians, bicycle riders and drivers. A curriculum has been developed starting in nursery school ( 5 years) up to high school final grade (17 /18 years). The curriculum aims to attribute knowledge, efficiency and values, while increasing awareness of the road safety problem.
