Abstract
Early establishment of a broad understanding of the factors affecting the traffic scene, together with simultaneous introduction to basic driving and road craft techniques, is essential to developing healthy and co-operative attitudes and good traffic citizens. This experience must be provided by properly qualified teachers in the school environment and through a progressive and integrated road safety and driver education program.
