Abstract
This international seminar discusses what prompts people to behave as they do on the roads, and presents current legislative, traffic surveillance and training methods used to improve such behaviour. New methods that could be used to improve driving behaviour and thereby reduce traffic accidents are also presented and discussed. For abstracts of some of the individual papers see C 19493 - C 19499 (IRRD 842668-842673).
