Abstract

This document is the summary record of the OECD Road Transport Research Programme Seminar on 'Road Technology Transfer' held in the framework of the work programme managed by the CCET on 12th-14th October 1992 in Budapest. Fifty technical papers were presented and equally distributed between OECD and CEEC-experts in the framework of the following sessions: (I) inventory of existing T² and technical assistance projects; (II) road pavement strenghtening and maintenance; (III) review of real practices, techniques, standards, guidelines, manuals; (IV) tools and transfer techniques; (V) sustainable development and long-term progress; and (VI) financing and co-ordination.
