Abstract

The results of the test carried out by 13 subjects are compared with laboratory experiments after which an investigation is made to the effects of moderate speed and road conditions on braking reaction times. It is found that the conventional pedal results are almost identical, while the results obtained with the combined pedal are significantly slower.
