Abstract
This Act covers the following items of traffic legislation: a) driving offences; b) driving under the influence of drink or drugs, or causing death by careless driving when under the influence of drink or drugs; c) motoring events; d) causing danger to road users; e) cycling offences; f) vehicle construction and use legislation; g) licensing of drivers; h) driving insurance; i) information required for the identification of drivers; j) trail for offences; k) penalties; and l) various miscellaneous items such as disabled persons badges. A section is also provided on legislation covering traffic in London. This section covers priority routes, local plans and trunk road local plans, and parking in London.
