Abstract

The purpose of this international standard is to give requirements and recommendations for the techniques of measurement used in impact tests. The requirements are to facilitate comparisons between results obtained by different laboratories and the recommendations are to assist such laboratories in meeting the requirements. Photographic methods are excluded from the present international standard. The french text of the standard is numbered iso 6487-1980 (f); for abstract of the french version see IRRD 112232.
