Abstract
RoadFacts is a regular report on the Australian and New Zealand road systems and their use. The publication includes facts and figures about the Australian and New Zealand road networks, and incorporates data highlighting the demands placed on them. RoadFacts 2000 is the third edition and is intended as a resource for researchers, road users, educational institutions and the public. This edition has been considerably expanded to incorporate a much broader range of information on New Zealand. In addition, the report contains more detailed information on subjects including freight transport, private sector involvement, tollways, tunnels, bicycles, and a wider set of international comparisons.
