Abstract
A thin wearing course placed on a rigid or semi- rigid base affords economy of asphalt, the possibility of utilization of local and non- conventional materials and economy of energy due to the reduction of transport costs. The problems of base crack reflected into the wearing course, the cooperation of the wearing and base courses and the technology of construction were successfully solved.
