Abstract

The Roadway Environment Subsystem is composed of integrated files which accept and store the numerous data items that depict the characteristics of the public roads. It processes and reports incremental data and summary information through the use of standardized control and linkages. These controls and links provide access to other subsystems. This paper depicts significant progress toward the realization of a fully integrated traffic records system.
