This final report on the role of accident statistics in accident prevention was submitted to the 20th Meeting on the Permanent Committee on Prevention of Occupational Risks and subsequently to the 24th General Assembly of the ISSA in Acapulco, November-December 1992, which adopted it unanimously. One of the goals of this project was to develop an ideal accident statistics model, in order to provide a stimulus and support to all members of the ISSA, with a view to influencing legislators in their efforts to further develop accident prevention.
Abstract
