Rollover, ejection, and the potential effectiveness of restraints in heavy-truck occupant fatalities.

Abstract

The results of this preliminary revies indicate that the proportion of heavy-truck occupant fatalities associated with rollover and/or ejection is about double that for fatally injured occupants of passenger cars. Restraint use would be effective in improving the chance for survival.
