Abstract

This paper presents a software framework called RTm@ps which means Real-Time "des Mines" Automotive Prototyping System. At first, the requirements that led to the development of this system are outlined, and then the features of RTm@ps that make it a good framework for prototyping multi-sensor automotive applications are described. Two typical applications involving RTm@ps are a lane/obstacle detection system and a data-logger/data-reader used to build a database of scenario for the CARSENSE European project.
