Abstract

A propulsion system for electric vehicles which consists of battery, pulse inverter and asynchronous engine is presented. The direct-current convertor is controlled by a system of pulse-width-modulation. A simulation model can be given, which shows the main properties of the propulsion in stationary working and in particular with the insertion or power transistors.
