Abstract

This paper deals with possibilities of using autocorrelation analysis in a spatial context. If variations take place only in the time domain possible applications take place only in the time domain possible applications of spectral analysis are considered. In the case spatial indices vary the use of contiguity analysis and two dimensional spectral analysis is dealt with. Empirical applications are discussed.
