Abstract

An increasing number of local authorities take measures to reduce the parking facility in the inner city. Unfortunately these measures do not always form part of a coherent policy covering the fields of traffic, transport, environment and housing. The Dutch Pedestrian Association advocates the view that all built- up areas should be divided into residential areas and some arterial roads.
