Abstract
A special working group of the Nordic Traffic Safety Council is considering the question of the use of daytime running lights on motor vehicles. As a first step in the analysis the group prepared a special report giving points of view and proposals regarding running lights on motorcycles. Motorcycles should be required to use lights at all times when in motion. Low-beam headlights are very well suited as running lights on motorcycles.
