Saccadic eye-movements and work load of the car driver.

Abstract

A description is given of a possible model for the driver as a production system. An attempt was made to separate data driven from concept driven saccades, by means of averaged EEG recordings. Furthermore it proposes an evaluation of the driver's work load with the help of the model. Some experimental results are also discussed.
