Abstract

A central element to the practical implementation of SAMOVAR type systems of the more complicated forms is the SAMOVAR interface. This report makes a case for the need for such a device in the type of vehicle being used in SAMOVAR field trials. The implication here is that fitment of the SAMOVAR equipment will be retrospective to the time of manufacture of the vehicle. This means that complications may arise in terms of the difficulties encountered in achieving all the necessary interconnections between vehicle systems and SAMOVAR modules.
