TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2236 consists of 13 papers that explore measuring the influence of accessibility on accident severity; relation of flow, speed, and density of urban freeways to functional form of a safety performance function; the effects of mobile phone use on accident risk; separation of safety effects of multiple improvements; model of relationship between interstate crash occurrence and geometrics; and analysis of naturalistic driving event data.
