Safety features of cars and their consequences.

Abstract

Car safety features can be divided in accident avoidance (active safety) and crashworthiness (passive safety). Beside the study of these features an investigation of biomechanics of the human body is necessary. Consequences of legal measures for safety features will cost 2000 DFL extra for a new car.
