Abstract
The UK's ITS centre of excellence, innovITS, is working towards the opening next year of a new range of facilities for the testing of cooperative infrastructure and safety-related technologies. Offering users the opportunity to safely evaluate both vehicles and telematics systems in a permanently established setting which supports the major communications protocols and simulates a series of driving environments, innovITS-ADVANCE is a 30 million Euro, five-phase project.
