Abstract

Results are presented of eight Danish studies, all of them dealing with the evaluation of the safety of cycle tracks in urban areas. Different aspects of the implementation of cycle tracks are considered. Cycle tracks are divided here into three main groups (1) cycle tracks on road sections (2) cycle tracks in T-junctions without any traffic signals, and (3) cycle tracks in signalised intersections.
