Abstract

Since 1966 the manufacturer of a car is required to recall the car when he has the knowledge that any motor vehicle or item of replacement equipment contains a defect. During April 1, 1980 till June 30, 1980, there were 53 recall campaign with in total 1.161.117 vehicles involved.
